In the early 80's, Cambodian refugees arrived in the United States after fleeing the Khmer Rouge's Killing Fields. In 1989 thirteen Cambodian families in Oregon came together for mutual aid and support. Today CACO unites Cambodian families, preserves Cambodian culture, and empowers Cambodian Americans to address social justice and civil rights issues.
