The Hells Canyon-Wallowa area is a linchpin ecosystem in the Northwest, connecting the Rockies, the Cascades and the Coast Range. HCPC monitors over 5 million acres of federal public land in this area. Their goals are to protect and restore the area, empower local residents to advocate for ecosystem protection, and to motivate public agencies to seek public input and involvement.
