Oregon has the 4th fastest growing prison population in the nation. Native Americans are grossly over-represented in prisons and the criminal (in)justice system. Red Lodge Transition Services is a Native American organization working to reduce recidivism, prevent intergenerational incarceration and challenge the Oregon Department of Corrections to address religious freedom and basic human rights of Indigenous people.
