Over the past few months, we traveled across the state, connecting with communities, organizers, activists, grantees, and supporters, and we are excited to announce multi-year grants for our Fall 2017 General Grant cycle as part of our grants reimagine. General grant amounts will range from $7,000 to $15,000 per year for two years.

Historically MRG has funded between 1/4 and 1/3 of applicants each cycle. Our new General Grant process uses a Letter of Intent (LOI) to honor the time of interested groups who may not fit our criteria and increase the likelihood organizations who apply will be funded.

To be considered for a grant application, your organization must submit a Letter of Intent by August 11, 2017. Mailed LOI’s must be postmarked by August 11th. LOI’s are accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis. You will receive an email of receipt from our office within three (3) business days of submission. If you do not receive an email, please contact us.

If invited to apply for the General Grant cycle, the application deadline is September 15, 2017.

MRG Foundation’s Letter of Intent (LOI) Form,  criteria, and on-line LOI form are linked below. Please review eligibility and criteria before submitting your LOI.
